RS232 IR Blaster

The RS232 IR Blaster that started irblaster.info.  This is a dumb IR Emitter device.  The IR Protocol must be constructed on the PC or embedded system using LIRC or WinLIRC.  This device will not operate as a standard serial device.  If you need a standard serial device and wish to send hex codes directly from a serial program to the device you must use a smart IR emitter with a built in microprocessor.  Consider our Arduino based IR products if you need a smart IR blaster.
